CHEESE-FARE SATURDAY

Troparion, Fourth Tone:

O God of our fathers, Who ever dealest with us according to Thy kindness, take not Thy mercy from us, but through their intercessions guide our life in peace.

Kontakion, Eighth Tone:

Thou hast made the assembly of the God-bearers illustrious as preachers of piety and silencers of ungodliness, O Lord, and they shine upon the world. By their supplications keep in perfect peace them that glorify and magnify Thee, that they may chant and sing unto Thee: Alleluia.
