Before Beginning Any Work

O Lord Jesus Christ, only-begotten Son of the unoriginate Father, Thou hast said with Thine own most pure mouth: "Without me, ye can do nothing." My Lord, my Lord, in faith embracing Thy words, I bow before Thy goodness and beseech Thy help: bless this work which I am about to begin. Strengthen me to bring it to completion, to Thy glory and to my edification, by the prayers of Thy most pure Mother, and of all the saints. Amen.
